Description
English: c/n 168-47. US Military Serial 49-2943. rebuilt from AT-6C 42-4125.

AT-6C-10-NT(s/n 42-4125, c/n 88-12254) in 1942. Transferred to 318th Flying Training Detachment. Damaged while parked in a collision by AT-6C 41-32761 landing at Avenger Field on 17th July 1943. Fixed early, but Damaged again on 13th October while landing at same airfield.

Completed 22nd May 1950. Joined 3365th Pilot Training Wing. Civil registered as N6253C in 1961 and used for weather control by Cloud Modification Service at Minot, North Dakota, until 1969. Between at least 1985 at 2012 she flew in pre-WW2 US Navy colors, but Joined the Commemorative Air Force in 2017 and is now painted in a more appropriate USAAF color scheme, albeit with a false military serial. She is seen carrying out rides on the morning of the 2019 ‘Wings Over Dallas’ WWII Airshow. Dallas Executive Airport, Redbird, Dallas, Texas.
