Combination of temperature indicators ("proxies") for north-western Europe from Greenland icecores and Alpine glacier extensions, with three subdivision proposals from three disciplines.

Summary[edit]

Description
English: Time-parallelized temperature indicators ("proxies") for northwestern Europe: two Greenland ice core evaluations combined with alpine tree lines and glacier movements, with chronology in our standard chronology (BCE/CE) and calibrated BP=before 1950), and legends for geologic ages, Blytt-Sernander, and prehistoric periods (out of space reasons, the latter in German, abbreviated as follows: a/old, m/middle, j/young, sp/late, e/final, ML/Mesolithic, NL/Neolithic, Kupfer/copper, Eisen/iron, HL/Hallstatt, Rom(an), VöWdg/Migration Period, MA/Middle Ages, Neuzeit/Present).
