Summary[edit]

Description

Pillar in Yomeimon at Toshogu, Nikko, Tochigi Prefecture, Japan, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. I took the photo and contribute it to the public domain. People and institutions may retain rights to images in it. The decorative motif on this pillar is upside-down. A visitor rubs the pillar for good luck. Compare with pillar having upright motif.
