Summary[edit]

Description
English: The friction plates fixing temporary cross bracing onto the old Newmarket Viaduct in Auckland, New Zealand. Needed (or at least in case it was needed) to prevent the structure from collapsing / keeling over sideways once parts of it were cut away for demolition, and thus couldn't mutually support each other anymore.
