Description
English: Newburgh Priory. The west front of this country house, built on the site of an Augustinian priory founded in 1145. Over the gate is the family crest and motto of the Earls of Fauconberg Bonne et Belle Assez which translates as To be good and beautiful is enough and is a pun on the family name of Belasyse (Bellasis).
