Summary

[edit]
Description

"Hospitable Wellingtonians make a habit of inviting Marines to their homes for weekend visits and are listed on the rolls of the American Red Cross "Cecil Club". Mrs. M. Williams and Mrs. E. Luhks, both of Wellington, make the assignments for Marines like Private First Class E. Rutherford of Westburve, Tennessee, checking his gear. The Shore Patrolman is G.R. Wlikin, USN, of Payette, Ohio."
