English: Boudhanath (Devanagari: बौद्धनाथ) (also called Boudha, Bouddhanath or Baudhanath or the Khāsa Caitya) is a stupa in Kathmandu, Nepal.The Gopālarājavaṃśāvalī says Boudhanath was founded by the Nepalese Licchavi king Śivadeva(c. 590-604 CE); though other Nepalese chronicles date it to the reign of King Mānadeva (464-505 CE).
नेपाली: बौद्धनाथ स्तुप (काठमाडौं), याम्वु शहरको पूर्वी भागमा अवस्थित प्रसिद्ध बौद्ध स्तूप तथा तीर्थस्थल हो । यसको निर्माण लिच्छवीकालमा भएको हो । |
