Title
Neolithic Arrowhead from Twin Rivers parish
Description
English:

White Patinated Flint

Possible Arrowhead. Leaf shaped flake with four flake removal scars on its dorsal aspect and a subsequent bulb of percussion on the ventral side. The oval form and flat profile could qualify this as an arrowhead, though if so, the point has been lost in antiquity, as its site is patinated along with the rest of the object. Suggested date: Neolithic, 3500-2100 BC.

Length: 23.2mm, Width: 17mm, Thickness: 3.1mm, Weight: 1.35gms.

Depicted place (County of findspot) East Riding of Yorkshire
Date between 3500 BC and 2100 BC

FindID: 508541
