Description
English: Series of two prints. The image on the left depicts a man with a rifle leaning against a tree. "On Picket" (written below image). The image on the right is of a man with a rifle over his shoulder with a pair of socks and another cloth hanging from the end, and the back end of a cannon in the foreground. Closer in the background are two uniformed soldiers, and behind them is a large group of marching soldiers and another soldier on horseback. "Washing day" (written below image). "Copy-righted 1876 by E. Forbes." and "PLATE 8." (printed below images).
