| Description |
Español: Vista otoñal del embalse de Chiquillo, situado en la zona baja del valle de la Barranca, en el término municipal del pueblo madrileño de Navacerrada (España). Este es uno de los numerosos pequeños embalses repartidos por la Sierra de Guadarrama que abastecen de agua a los núcleos urbanos situados más altos que los grandes embalses de la zona. Estos almacenamientos de agua han dado lugar a una vegetación arbórea de ribera que crece en sus orillas. Estos árboles son de hoja caduca y necesitan más agua que otras especies presentes en la sierra. Al fondo de la imagen se aprecia parte del bosque de pino silvestre que cubre el valle de la Barranca. |
