区域の名称：「国指定和白干潟・多々良川河口鳥獣保護区」、種別：集団渡来地、多々良川河口の部分の区域：多々良川河口右岸のJR鹿児島本線多々良川橋梁と多々良川河畔公園の境界線との交点を起点とし、同所から同境界線を南東に進み松崎小橋との交点に至り、同所から県道549号多田羅名島線と河畔公園との境界線を南東に進み国道3号バイパス真州崎大橋(ますさきおおはし)との交点に至り、同所から同橋を南進し同川左岸との交点に至り、 同所から同川左岸を北西に進み宇美川右岸の交点に至り、同所から同川右岸を南西に進み宇美川大橋との交点に至り、同所から同橋を西進し同川左岸との交点に至り、同所から同川左岸を北西へ進みJR鹿児島本線多々良川橋梁との交点に至り、同所から同橋梁を北東に進み起点に至る線に囲まれた区域[1]、接する町丁：福岡市東区名島、松崎、松島及び筥松[2]
