Description
Français : Tempura (beignets à la japonaise d'après une recette portugaise), de margose à Naha (Okinawa), concombres amer. Ces légumes ont été introduit à Okinawa depuis la Chine, à l'époque du Royaume de Ryūkyū sur l'archipel. Alors indépendant et vassalisé par la Chine des mandchous de la dynastie Qing, de nombreux échanges avaient lieu entre le Continent (principalement Fujian) et l'archipeil. C'est ainsi que fut introduit la boxe de la grue blanche qui y devienra le karaté.
English: Bitter Melon tempura (a japanese version of portuguese tempera) in a Naha (Okinawa island) restaurant. The bitter melon was introduced on Okinawa during Ryūkyū Kingdom period. An indepenant kingdom vassal of chinese-manchu Qing Empire. There was lot of exchanges at this time between the archipelagos and China. That's the time where white crane box was introduced to make famous karate do.
