Summary[edit]

Description

On May 6, 2015 NRCS District Conservationist Nina Pekron, Philip, used the Burlese Funnel experiment to put soil biological life under the microscope. Healthy soil is the foundation for all life on earth. The NRCS helps people better understand natural resources and how to manage them for production agricultural as well as recreational and urban uses. NRCS also hosted the NRCS SD Soil Tunnel at the event staffed by Soil Scientist Katrina Wilke, Rapid City.
