| Description |
English: A FLASH T1W image of a research phantom at 7T. The ghosting artifacts seen in the image are due to Chemical Shifting. Chemical Shifting happens in the FE direction. The phantom contained a mixture of fat and water. Chemical shifting causes a seemingly duplicate copy to appear in the Frequency Encoding direction, as seen here with the spots. The central cavity contained 95% water, 5% Acetic Acid. |
