Summary[edit]

Description
English: An ‘aquanaut’ during the 19th NASA Extreme Environment Mission Operations (NEEMO). ESA trainer Hervé Stevenin joined NASA astronaut Randy Bresnik, Canadian astronaut Jeremy Hansen and ESA astronaut Andreas Mogensen on a week underwater to test new space technology and operations. NASA’s underwater training missions are held off the coast of Florida and send astronauts 20 m below the sea to live in a makeshift space base where they conduct regular ‘waterwalks’ in scuba gear.
