English: A view of Caves of Jhong, Mustang The Mustang Caves or Sky Caves of Nepal are a collection of some 10,000 man made caves dug into the sides of valleys in the Mustang District of Nepal. Researchers found priceless 14th-century wall paintings which included a 55 panel depiction of Buddha’s life, almost 3000 years old ancient human remains and centuries-old hidden library consisting of 8000 text pages describing Tibetan Buddhists doctrine to legal matters and even sacred texts most of which dates back to the 15th century.
