English: Blackburn Buccaneer (XT288), a British low-level strike aircraft with nuclear weapon delivery capability serving with the Royal Navy and the Royal Air Force between 1962 and 1994, in the National Museum of Flight in East Fortune, East Lothian, Scotland.
XT288 was bought by the Museum from an Elgin based scrap merchant in 1994.
Nederlands: Blackburn Buccaneer (XT288), een tactische bommenwerper die niet alleen dienst heeft gedaan bij de Britse Fleet Air Arm van de Royal Navy (RN) maar ook bij de Royal Air Force (RAF), in het National Museum of Flight in East Fortune, East Lothian, Schotland.
XT 288 werd door het Museum aangekocht van een oudijzerhandelaar in Elgin, in 1994. |
