Español: Sillón presidencial utilziado por el Presidente Santiago Derqui de 1860 a 1861, constituye el primer exponente de sillón de mando utilizado por un Primer Mandatario argentino.
Tallado en el respaldo el mueble ostenta el Escudo de la Confederación Argentina. El habitualmente denominado "Sillón de Rivadavia" -que nunca existió como objeto ni como símbolo de mando- es un mito instalado en el inconsciente colectivo nacional, que alude simbólicamente al cargo de Presidente de la Nación. |
