Description
English: Wall Mural in the Sé Cathedral. The mosaic was designed in 1953 by the Italian painter Avenali, Marcello. - Born in Rome on November 16, 1912 - son of Luigi and Elena Terziani, died in Rome on 11 November 1981, and was ridden by Gruppo Mosaiciste Ravenna (Ravenna Mosaicist Group). Portrays the patron saint of the city of São Paulo (St. Paul) in Brazil, himself the apostle St. Paul holding the sword symbol of the decapitation of his death in his right hand; the book symbol of word that brings us teachings in his left hand; wears a white robe symbol of purity and dedication to the work of God; and red cover the symbol of his martyrdom. Made with gold and precious stones.

El mosaico fue diseñado en 1953 por el pintor italiano Avenali, Marcello. - Nacido en Roma el 16 de noviembre 1912 - hijo de Luigi y Elena Terziani, murió en Roma el 11 de noviembre de 1981, y fue montado por Gruppo Mosaiciste Ravenna (grupo mosaicista Ravenna). Retrata el santo patrón de la ciudad de São Paulo (San Pablo) en Brasil, el propio apóstol San Pablo sosteniendo la espada el símbolo de la decapitación de su muerte en su mano derecha; el libro símbolo de la palabra que nos trae enseñanzas en su mano izquierda; lleva una túnica blanca símbolo de pureza y dedicación a la obra de Dios; y cubierta de color rojo el símbolo de su martirio.

Le carton a été dessiné en 1953 par le peintre italien Marcello Avenali (1912 - 1981), et l'oeuvre fut réalisée par le Gruppo Mosaiciste Ravenna. Il représente Saint Paul, patron de la cité. Dans la main droite, il tient une épée, symbole de sa décapitation. Dans sa main gauche, un livre, symbole de ses enseignements. Il porte une robe blanche, marque de pureté, et une toge rouge en souvenir de son martyre.

Retrata o padroeiro da cidade de São Paulo no Brasil, o próprio São Paulo o apóstolo segurando a espada símbolo da decaptação da sua morte na mão direita; o livro símbolo da palavra que leva nos ensinamentos na mão esquerda; veste a túnica branca símbolo da pureza e dedicação a obra de Deus; e a capa vermelha símbolo do seu martírio.
