in the Hormersdorf Erzgebirgisch dialect meaning 01:30 (literally "half of the second hour", the first hour being 12:00 to 01:00).
The left-hand wheel has twelve cogs, each showing a five minute interval (a Ziffer), from bottom to top:
vier Ziffern = four Ziffers or twenty minutes;
fünf Ziffern = five Ziffers or twenty-five minutes;
halb = half-hour or thirty minutes;
siem Ziffern = seven Ziffers or thirty-five minutes;
acht Ziffern = eight Ziffers or forty minutes;
dreivärtel = three quarters of an hour or forty-five minutes;
(remaining cogs are out of view)
The right-hand wheel also has twelve cogs, each showing a single hour, from bottom to top:
zwilfe = twelve (or "of the twelfth hour");
äns = one (or "of the first hour");
zwee'e = two;
dreie = three;
viere = four;
fünfe = five;
