Русский: Данный фрагмент содержит первую страницу одного из альбомов с алфавитными ("муфрадат") каллиграфическими упражнениями. Подобные альбомы включают "аль-хуруф аль-муфрадах" или, в соответствии с османской традицией, "хуруф-и мукатта'а" (одиночные буквы) арабского алфавита в последовательном порядке, за которыми следуют буквы в сочетаниях (согласно турецкой традиции, "муреккебе", буквально "пары"). Книги упражнений по каллиграфии появились не позднее XVII века в османской Турции и применялись на протяжении значительной части XX века. Они использовались как образцы каллиграфии, на примере которых учащиеся знакомились с арабским алфавитом и учились чистописанию. Кроме того, они отражают изменения, происходившие в области каллиграфии на протяжении столетий. Первые три строки данного листа содержат одиночные буквы в алфавитном порядке. В середине третьей строки находится розетка светло-голубого цвета с золотым пунктиром, служащая для отделения отдельно стоящих букв в верхней части листа от последовательности буквенных сочетаний в нижней части. Сочетания букв состоят из второй буквы алфавита, "ба" ("б"), с последующими буквами алфавита. Между строками текста черными чернилами нарисованы изогнутые волнистые линии, призванные заполнить свободное пространство, которое иначе оказалось бы пустым. De tels albums comprennent en séquence al-huruf al-mufradah ou, dans la tradition ottomane huruf-i muqatta'a (les lettres individuelles) de l'alphabet arabe, suivies par les lettres dans leur forme composée (dans la tradition turque, murekkebe, littéralement « paires »). Les livres d'exercice apparurent au plus tard au XVIIe siècle en Turquie ottomane et se sont poursuivis jusqu'au XXe siècle. Ils étaient utilisés comme livres de modèles de calligraphie pour présenter aux étudiants l'alphabet arabe et la pratique d'une belle écriture. Ils sont aussi les témoins d'une chaine de transmission de la connaissance en calligraphie à travers les siècles. Les trois premières lignes de ce feuillet comprennent les lettres individuelles en ordre alphabétique. Au milieu de la troisième ligne apparait une rosette pointillée bleu clair et or, destinée à séparer les lettres isolées du haut de la séquence de lettres composées du bas. Les lettres composées combinent la seconde lettre de l'alphabet ba (b) aux lettres suivantes de l'alphabet. Entre les lignes de texte apparaissent des lignes courbes ondulées à l'encre noire destinées à remplir les espaces vides autrement non ornés de la composition. Les lettres sont en écriture nastaliq noire sur un papier beige et entourées de bandes de nuages à l'encre bleu clair et blanche. Entre les bandes et le cadre rectangulaire apparaissent des motifs floraux enluminés sur fond doré pointillé d'incisions en trois points. Les cadres de l'œuvre combinent des couleurs uniques avec un papier interne marbré blanc et gris. Le papier et les cadres sont placés sur un papier plus épais vert clair décoré de mouchetures dorées.

Such albums include al-huruf al-mufradah or, in the Ottoman tradition, huruf-i muqatta'a (the single letters) of the Arabic alphabet in sequence, followed by letters in their composite form (in the Turkish tradition, murekkebe, literally "pairs"). Exercise books appeared by at least the 17th century in Ottoman Turkey and continued well into the 20th century. They were used as books of calligraphy exemplars to introduce students to the Arabic alphabet and the practice of beautiful handwriting. They also bear witness to the chain of transmission of calligraphic knowledge throughout the centuries. This folio's first three lines include the single letters arranged in alphabetical order. In the middle of the third line appears a light blue and gold stippled rosette intended to separate the free-standing letters at the top from the sequence of composite letters at the bottom. The composite letters combine the second letter of the alphabet ba (b) with subsequent letters of the alphabet. Between each line of text appear curved wavy lines executed in black ink intended to fill the otherwise unadorned, empty spaces in the composition. The letters are written in a black Nasta'liq script on a beige paper and surrounded by cloud bands executed in light blue and white ink. Between the bands and the rectangular frame appear a number of illuminated flower motifs placed on a gold background stippled with three-dot incisions. The work's frames combine single colors with an internal white-and-gray marbled paper. The paper and frames are placed onto a thicker light-green piece of paper decorated with gold flecks.

O papel e as molduras estão posicionados em um pedaço de papel mais grosso de cor verde claro decorado com respingos dourados.

Estos tipos de álbumes contienen al-huruf al-mufradah o, según la tradición otomana, huruf-i muqatta'a (las letras individuales) del alfabeto árabe en secuencia, seguidas de las letras en su forma compuesta (en la tradición turca, murekkebe, literalmente «pares»). Los libros de ejercicios aparecieron, por lo menos, en el siglo XVII en la Turquía otomana y continuaron hasta bien entrado el siglo XX. Fueron utilizados como libros de ejemplares de caligrafía para introducir a los estudiantes en el alfabeto árabe y la práctica de la bella escritura. También son testigos de la cadena de transmisión del conocimiento caligráfico con el paso de los siglos. Las tres primeras líneas de este folio tienen las letras individuales dispuestas en orden alfabético. En el centro de la tercera línea aparece una roseta punteada en celeste y dorado, colocada para separar las letras sueltas en la parte superior de la secuencia de letras compuestas, en la parte inferior. Las letras compuestas combinan la segunda letra del alfabeto, ba (b), con las siguientes letras del alfabeto. Entre cada línea de texto aparecen líneas onduladas realizadas en tinta negra, destinadas a llenar los espacios vacíos y sin adornos en la composición. Las letras están realizadas en escritura nasta'liq negra, sobre un papel de color beige, y rodeadas de bandas de nubes ejecutadas en tinta celeste y blanca. Entre las tiras y el marco rectangular aparecen varios motivos florales iluminados, colocados sobre un fondo dorado punteado con incisiones de tres puntos. Los marcos de la obra tienen un solo color y están combinados con un papel marmolado en blanco y gris. El papel y los marcos están colocados en una pieza más gruesa de papel de color verde claro, decorada con motas de oro.
