Having for many years been lecturer at the Farmers Institutes in theExtension Courses of the University of California and having been editoror associate editor of four agricultural and other newspapers on the PacificCoast, many questions have during this time been propounded to merelating to the poultry business, its difficulties, the troubles of poultryraisers and the ailments of fowls. Some of these thousand and one questionswill be found in this book with the answers to them, also remedies forthe diseases or ills of fowls in this climate.
