Description
Français : Moteur a vapeur réalisé par Clément Ader en 1892 pour motoriser l'avion n°2 "Zéphir". Le moteur entièrement en acier et usiné est composé de 2 tandems de 2 cylindres (haute et basse pression) situés dans le prolongement l'un de l'autre. Dans les cylindres se déplacent 2 pistons de diamètres différents solidaires de la même bielle attelée au villebrequin. Le moteur fournit une puissance normale de 30 chevaux et une puissance maximum de 37 chevaux à 480 tr/minutes avec 15 kg de pression. La masse du moteur nu est de 33 kg avec la chaudière et les accessoires de 134 kg.
