||||||||||||||||||||
Description |
This Taj-like structure is probably not a mosque, but one of a pair of buildings on either side of the reflecting pool in the Chota Imambara (also known as the Hussainabad Imambara) complex in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India. The complex was built by Muhammad Ali Shah in 1837-1838 as his mausoleum, and he and other family members are entombed in the buildings in the complex. |
