Deutsch: Darstellung der alttestamentarischen Legende von der „Schlangenerhöhung des Mose" am Biblischen Haus in der Görlitzer Altstadt – Nach einer Erzählung des Tanach bzw. des Alten Testaments schickte Gott Schlangen unter die Israeliten als Strafe für die Ungeduld, Undankbarkeit und Nörgelei nach dem Auszug aus Ägypten während der Wanderung durch die Wüste. Wer von einer feurigen Schlange gebissen wurde und zu der an einem Stab aufgerichteten ehernen Schlange aufsah, wurde geheilt und durfte weiterleben. |
