Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Caricature in the satirical newspaper Chantecler, published in the Spanish city of Cartagena on August 28, 1910.
In it, the city is represented as a woman giving farewell to an anthropomorphic cholera outbreak that had affected the population at that time, signaling that Cartagena is already sanitised. Cholera then mockingly responds that the City Hall still reeks of Maestrismo, making reference to José Maestre Pérez, deputy for the Cartagena district.
