the story behind this is that while driving from toronto to marathon ontario on the way from toronto to edmonton, all the gas stations were closed for sunday between sault st. marie and wawa. so, nearing an empty tank and flying by numerous closed gas stations we decided on backtracking to the nearest open station. while backtracking, we saw this moose, hopped out and started snapping. downside: added almost 2 hours to our travel time and we pulled up into wawa at 1:30am or so, dead tired. upside: we saw a moose! |
