Château de Montsoreau, xvème siècle Alexandre Dumas a rendu célèbre le nom de Monsoreau dans son roman La Dame de Monsoreau ( sans "t"). L'histoire met en scène les amours de Diane de Méridor, épouse de Charles de Chambes, comte de Monsoreau, et de son amant Louis de Bussy d'Amboise.

Montsoreau, fifteenth century Alexandre Dumas has made famous the name of Monsoreau in his novel La Dame de Monsoreau (without "t").

The story depicts the love of Diane de Meridor, wife of Charles de Chambes, Earl of Monsoreau, and her lover Louis de Bussy d'Amboise.
