| Description |
English: Monterey Park Civic Center in Monterey Park, California, U.S.A. It had been raining all morning, but it had stopped by the time I got here. Two days after I took these photos, the city posted a message about its very first Holiday Snow Village event scheduled for December 13th, 2013, starting with a tree lighting ceremony, Santa Claus' arrival, etc. in front of the City Hall, i.e., right here on this lawn. Then the event will continue at the Barnes Park Amphitheater in the park behind this building, with seven tons of real snow. I won't be there, but maybe someone reading this can take some nice photos. |
