Jeremy Waters, an extrication team member of the Colorado Army National Guard's Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear or High-Yield Explosive Enhanced Response Force Package, waits while his team leaders discuss how to enter the rubble of a simulated building collapse during Montana's Vigilant Guard in Helena, Sept. 17, 2009. The CERF focused on rescue and recovery at the rubble site, which included practicing their skills on how to stabilize the tunnels, find people caught in a collapse and how to extricate them from the debris safely. |
