Monitoring processes in the ocean from remote sensing

Summary[edit]

Description
English: Schematic of EXport Processes in the Ocean from Remote Sensing (EXPORTS) sampling campaign that includes ships, moorings, floats, gliders, sediment traps, and satellite observations. EXPORTS is a large-scale NASA-led field campaign that is leveraging existing ocean time series and other ocean observing assets to provide critical information for quantifying the export and fate of upper ocean net primary production (NPP) using satellite observations and state of the art ocean technologies.
