| Description |
English: Monega Hill and a glaciated landscape. The view from Caderg across Ceanlochan Glen to Monega Hill and down Glen Isla. The U-shape of the Valley is clearly visible as are the moraine around the base of Monega Hill. The periglacial timeline can clearly be seen at this angle, showing the extent of more recent glaciation along the sides of the glen. Old river channels are also clearly evident from this height. To try and get the scale of the glen see if you can spot the ruin above the confluence of the two burns left lower middle NO 195 756. |
