Add a one-line explanation of what this file represents
Description Martim Moniz Square is named after a Portuguese hero, a captain who is said to have seen Arabs sneaking out of their besieged castle to look for food and water. He sounded the alarm and chased after them, using his body to block the gateway open until other soldiers could arrive and take the castle. Moniz died of the many stab wounds he suffered as the Arab defenders tried to push him away from the doorway, but he lives on in legend. This modern art depiction of a wall (the coned things are representations of Medieval soldiers) marks the spot where the Medieval city wall once stood.
