Description
English: Princess Fathia (the little girl wearing a gray-green coat), sister of King Farouk I of Egypt, plays in the snow with her soon-to-be sister-in-law Safinaz Zulficar (the young woman wearing a red coat) during the Egyptian Royal Family's winter trip to Europe in 1937. Safinaz Zulficar would change her name and become Queen Farida upon her marriage to King Farouk I a few months later, on 20 January 1938. The photograph was published in Al-Musawwar magazine on 11 February 1939.
