Description
Deutsch: Römische Grabinschrift, 1. Jh. oder 2. Jh. nach Christus; entdeckt 1866 auf dem römischen Friedhof bei Mochenwangen, Gde. Wolpertswende; Landesmuseum Württemberg; ausgestellt im Schlossmuseum Aulendorf.

Der Stein enthält die erste namentliche Nennung von Bewohnern des mittleren Schussentals: 

SICNA CRISPINI FILIA VIXIT ANNOS X.L. PRoCULUS MARITUS M[*] FECIT.
* Die Abkürzung M steht für MERITO, MERENTI, MONUMENTUM, MEMORIAM o. ä.
„Sicna, die Tochter des Crispinus lebte 40 Jahre. Proculus, ihr Gemahl, ließ [dieses Grabmal / nach Gebühr o. ä.] errichten.“
