Description
English: Cartoon "Mississippi at the St. Louis Fair", satirizing the state of Mississippi visiting the 1904 "Louisiana Purchase Exposition" World's Fair in St. Louis, Missouri. Clearly shows that Mississipi's reputation for racism and surpression of the African-American population was already well established at the time.
