Description
English: Lahaina as seen from Lahainaluna (Maui). Drawn by Miss Thurston. Copper-plate engraving by Kapohoni at Lahainaluna Seminary Press Lahaina, Maui: Late 1830s 16 ½" x 23 ½" framed This is one of the rarest views of the Lahainaluna Press and Seminary in Maui. The seminary wall is in the foreground, with a few settlements of Lahaina, the bay and a volcano in the distance.
