Description
English: Near the main entrance of the Banglamukhi temple in Patan, Lalitpur, on the left is the famous historical Misa Hiti, a natural stream of artistic stone. This hiti is famous for the panchdan which takes place in the month of August every year. At that time Fudyo: meaning the last deity is brought here along with Bajagaja. On the way, the participants give panchdan to the monks and finally to Fudyo, then no one is given panchdan for a year. There is also a water source inside this hiti and natural water is coming to the stone stream from the same source. It is believed that Dharmadeva built this hiti in 1416. The locals still drink the water of this hiti while they carry water for washing clothes and household chores in the hiti.
