Description
  • Scope and content: Millville, New Jersey - Glass wool. Frederick and Dimmock Co. The second shot of the process. On the left may be seen the skein of glass as they are brought from the blowing room being heated. They are then hung on the racks shown on the right hand side of the picture. As this screen has just been started it may be seen how the girls who are drawing out the wool hold the skein in their hands. To the left is a man holding a screen ready to be put on the rack as this one is finished. In the rear of picture is the oven where the screens are put for baking.
