Take Hudson River railroad#or Man-hattanville stages to Fort Washington or High Bridge. YOUNG MENS CHRISTIAN ASSOCIATION. This society have their rooms on the corner of Fourth ,Avenue and Twenty-third street. The Association hasa reading-room, which is entirely distinct from thelibrary and department for committee and other meet-ings. Devotional services are held on Wednesday andSaturday evenings. Young men, strangers, and thepublic are cordially invited.

THE NEW YORK UNIVERSITY Is located on the east side of Washington Square, andforms a noble architectural ornament, being of theEnglish collegiate style of architecture. The Univer-sity was established in 1831, and has ever maintainedits high reputation.
