English: Crowds gathering to watch parade of cavalry. Streets and lamp-posts decorated with flags and bunting.


What a great photo and surprisingly the community is undecided as to what exactly is going on, there are a few theories and suggestions, the comments are well worth a read and then perhaps you could offer some clarification.
