| Description |
English: Milestone on Telford's road through North Wales (now part of the A5), built in about 1815. The milestone is located between the River Conwy and the main shopping centre of Betws-y-Coed. It shows the distance to Holyhead as 45 miles; the distance to Capel Curig as 5 miles and 5 furlongs and the distance to Cernioge [Inn] (now a farm near Rhydlydan)[1] as 8 miles and 6 furlongs.
Cymraeg: Carreg filltir ar ffordd Telford trwy Ogledd Cymru (sydd bellach yn rhan o'r A5), a adeiladwyd tua 1815. Mae'r garreg filltir wedi'i lleoli rhwng Afon Conwy a phrif ganolfan siopa Betws-y-Coed. Dengys y pellder i Caergybi fel 45 milldir ; y pellter i Capel Curig fel 5 milltir a 5 furlong a'r pellter i Cernioge [Inn] (fferm ger Rhydlydan erbyn hyn)[1] fel 8 milltir a 6 ffyrlong. |
