DescriptionMiffy books in Dutch and Gronings (Low-Saxon), Oude Pekela (2019).jpg |
English: Two identical Miffy (Nijntje) books with one being in the Dutch language and the other in the Gronings dialect of the Low-Saxon language in the Groninger village of Oude Pekela.
Note that one of the books belongs to a literary genre known as "Groninga" which are works written in Gronings as categorised as such by the Olde Pekelder public library system. The name of the Dutch book is "Opa en Oma Pluis" while the Groninger version (translation) is called "Opa en Oma Pluus". |
