Description
English: Three views of Meves Cafeteria, Seattle, Washington, USA c. 1930. Despite the description as "Corner Pine St. and Fourth Ave.", this 1934 photo clearly shows it as being half a block east of that, on the north side of Pine, angled between an alley and Westlake Avenue, which at that time extended to Pine and even one block further south to Pike. (You can see a tiny bit of the then Seattle Times Building, now Times Square Building, at the end of the alley.) This is all now part of the site of Westlake Mall.
