Description
Deutsch: Mettmann, Freiheitstr. 19, sogenanntes Elberfelder Prachttor, das - 1791 für 800 Reichstaler, die Pfeiler für 400 Reichstaler gefertigt - tatsächlich einst am Hofkamp in Elberfeld ein Patrizierhaus schmückte, nur 15 Jahre später vom Erben aber für weniger als zehn Prozent der Herstellungskosten dem Pfarrer an der Evangelischen Kirche in Mettmann überlassen wurde, wo es bis heute den Zugang schmückt.
