fig. 346. Periphyllopsis braueri con le pareti dello stomaco strappate, in modo da vederne la base con i cirri gastrici.

Secondo H.B. Bigelow in Mem. Museum Comp. Zool. all'Harward College, 1909.

L'unico esemplare raccolto da Vanhöffen era talmente imperfetto che non è stato descritto nei dettagli. L'esemplare di Bigelow invece ne ha descritto uno molto migliore nella collezione dell'Albatross.

Vanhöffen's speciment was so imperfect that he cannot venture to present a detailed description of it. Bigelow describes a more nearly perfect specimen from the collection of the Albatross.
