Medieval ear scoop
Description
English: A Medieval copper alloy ear scoop. The shank is now bent at right angles to the scoop midway along its length. The shank is circular in section with three closely-spaced concentric moulded ridges in the centre. The scoop has a seamed socket and is now crushed. Light green patina. Dimensions: length of bowl 12.45mm; length of socketed end 20.85mm, current length 47.95mm, weight 5.12g
