Description
English: Medieval copper alloy buckle frame, rectangular, thick D-sectioned outside edge with two filed grooves at both ends, mostly obscured by corrosion, convex sides, rectangular-sectioned offset bar with scrap of copper alloy sheet pin. Length 15mm. Width 22mm. Outside edge 2.5mm thick. See broadly related types in Egan and Pritchard (1991), 96, fig.61, nos.434-5. 14th century.
