Medieval Buckle
Description
English: Medieval copper alloy buckle frame, worn and corrode angled double-oval with narrowed central bar that projects beyond sides, D-sectioned copper alloy pin. Both broad faces of outside edges are decorated with three longitudinal lines on possible punched triangles or interrupted rocker-arm, one side with notch on inner edge for pin. Length 27mm. Width 25mm. 15th century.
