Title
Medieval lead alloy spindle whorl
Description
English: A complete lead spindle whorl of uncertain date. The whorl is large in size and crudely hemispherical in shape. There is a large circular hole through its centre. Its shape suggests that it is a spindle whorl, but it could also have been used as a weight. It's simple form and lack of decoration makes it very difficult to date. All surfaces are heavily pitted and scratched.

Diameter: 27.0mm, thickness: 16.0mm, weight: 61.31g
